Fahim Farook is the Principal Architect of Eliya, an OpenJDK distribution for compliance-conscious production, at Asymm Systems. He spent the last 15 years building enterprise platforms, primarily in telecom - at Virtusa serving British Telecom Openreach, through progressively senior roles, to CTO at Arimac Digital leading delivery for clients like du, Ooredoo, and Vodafone across Europe, MENA, South Asia, and the Pacific. He is a contributor to Spring Cloud Netflix, Spring Boot, and Debezium. Currently, he is exploring systems and tooling for enterprise domains with heavy standards and integration requirements through Asymm Systems.
