Media Partner for OCX27 and jChampions Conference 2027

Foojay is proud to be a media partner for two very different, but equally great, events coming up: OCX 2027 in Brussels and the fully online jChampions Conference 2027.

OCX 2027

We’re excited to be a media partner of Open Community Experience (OCX) 2027. From 13–15 April 2027, developers, maintainers, researchers, engineering leaders, and open source communities from around the world will meet at Tour & Taxis in Brussels, Belgium.

  • Date: April 13-15, 2027
  • Location: Tour & Taxis, Avenue du Port, Brussels, Belgium
  • Details & tickets: ocxconf.org

Call for Proposals

The Call for Proposals for OCX 2027 is now open. We’d like to invite our community to share their expertise at this international conference. Head to ocxconf.org for the submission details.

jChampions Conference 2027

This is already the seventh edition of the jChampions Conference, the free, fully online conference organized by and featuring Java Champions. It runs across four days — January 21–22 and 25–26, 2027 — with seven sessions a day from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST, live on StreamYard and streamed to YouTube.

  • Dates: January 21-22 and 25-26, 2027
  • Format: Virtual, “Virtually Everywhere”
  • Details: jchampionsconf.com

Call for Proposals

The CFP is open now through Sessionize:

  • Opens: September 21, 2026
  • Closes: October 26, 2026

Presentations are one hour, including time for audience questions, and can be given in any language (submissions for committee review must be in English). Speakers need to be a Java Champion, though a co-speaker without that designation is welcome to join them on stage. You can suggest your preferred time slot, and the organizers will try to accommodate it. Recordings of previous editions are on the conference’s YouTube channel.

Two great reasons to block your calendar for 2027. We hope to see you, in person in Brussels or online with the Java Champions.
