IntelliJ IDEA Conf celebrates the developer community and its desire to learn and improve every day.
Join us for this free, live online conference and learn from industry leaders and experts on March 6–7, 2024.
You’ll be able to learn about a variety of topics, like Core Java, Kotlin, Java and AI, Apache Maven 4, Spring Boot, Micronaut, Testcontainers, Secure Coding, and testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, and AssertJ.
You'll also learn more about IntelliJ IDEA performance enhancements, JetBrains AI Assistant, IntelliJ IDEA's database support, and tips and tricks to make you more productive.

Agenda
IntelliJ IDEA Conf 2024 will be held across two days, March 6–7, with 14 sessions in total. The conference has a single track on both days. Each day, we’ll host seven one-hour sessions, including the Q&A.

Why should you care about yet another virtual (live) conference?
Given that in-person conferences have come back in force, this question is inevitable. In this case, there is no “best format” – it depends entirely on your situation.
Accessibility and convenience are some of the most significant benefits of a virtual conference like IntelliJ IDEA Conf. You can join in and from anywhere in the world and learn live from industry experts and leaders by asking questions and sharing your opinions. This conference is also free to attend – all you need is your device, an internet connection, and the desire to learn.
This convenience comes at the cost of being unable to interact with other attendees, speakers, or others as you would at an in-person conference. However, attending an in-person conference requires you to travel to the venue and perhaps take time off work. This might not be feasible for many developers around the world, irrespective of how compelling the conference agenda is.

Attending sessions – logistics
The first step is to register for the event!
When you register to participate in this event, you can choose to attend all sessions or only specific ones. Once your registration is complete, JetBrains will email you all of the details you’ll need to view the sessions. All of the sessions are scheduled to last for one hour.
None of the sessions at this conference are prerecorded. Sessions will be presented in real time, and speakers will answer questions either by taking quick breaks or at the end of their sessions. We encourage you to ask any questions you might have via the chat option while watching the sessions. Engaging with the speaker or your fellow participants is one of the best ways to learn.
All of the sessions will be recorded and made available for you to watch again or catch up on after the event. Don’t forget to subscribe to IntelliJ IDEA’s YouTube channel to view them.
